Wok-In Restaurant
Absolutely fantastic! A little hole in the wall on Montreal with the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The owners are husband and wife and incredibly friendly, they do all the work themselves and it’s truly amazing. Their pad Thai is hands down the best in Kingston, and certainly the best I’ve ever had. But if you’re not into that they have a wide variety of various curries and other dishes. The portions are very large and you’re definitely going to get a lot of value out of the meal. Would highly recommend stopping here whether you live in Kingston or are just traveling through.

Quite honestly, this place offers some wonderfully delicious Cambodian dishes at - what used to be - equally amazing prices. My wife and I used to drop by on a regular to enjoy the succulent food. However, their new policies are now keeping us away. Take-out only, ever since Covid, and their prices have doubled (the single $ category no longer applies here). Wok In is no longer the treasure it used to be. Its glory days are sadly over, and I, for one, will miss them. If dine-in tables returned, and prices came back down to Earth, I'd return in a heartbeat.

Stumbled upon this amazing place while looking for a late night meal during our visit to Kingston. The meals were fantastic, portions very generous and great price. The staff were friendly and helpful in choosing a few dishes to try. Would come back next time we are in town. Cash only, so be prepared for that.

The amount of food is huge and the taste is not bad. But the restaurant was so messy and dirty that I couldn't trust the food…Only take-out and cash are available.

Service was really nice, always loved these “hole in the wall” kinda places. Food was absolutely amazing, hella flavour as well. Gonna try to go through the entire menu lol

The number 9 at Wok-In is the best meal in Kingston. We’ve been to Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, and can say this is as good if not better than anything we’ve had while we were there. This is a family owned restaurant that really deserves all the praise in the other reviews.

I’ve been coming here for years. My fiancé had never been, so I mentioned how good it was. We ordered pick up for dinner tonight. Number 2 and 9 with spring rolls. Fantastic, friendly service. The food… AMAZING! You can tell they take pride in preparing these authentic meals. My other half couldn’t believe how good it was. We can’t wait to order again!

Perfect! Food was amazing, got #1 and #4. The people running the restaurant are very friendly, and the food is home made". Prices are reasonable also. Excellent Cambodian and Vietnamese food at a good price

We ordered hot chicken curry with rice and shrimp in coconut milk gravy with rice. Both were delicious and had a homely taste. Hot curry was really spicy, not recommended for children. Packaging for take out was impressive. There was 30min waiting time, so you may order in advance and pick up later. Parking on road side is limited. The couple running the shop are very hospitable. Reasonable pricing is one of the most attractive things.

One of Kingston's hidden gems! Wok-In has a small storefront but has the best Thai/Cambodian food in town. The owners are so sweet & their portions are big! Very fair pricing but limited seating
